“It gladdens my heart to be in your midst today on this auspicious occasion of the Commissioning of Link Road from Emmanuel High Street to Alh. Amoo Street, Ojota.

Let me sincerely welcome and thank everyone ere for finding time to attend this event.

The Executive Governor of Lagos State Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has set a benchmark in which every Local Government Chairman must follow. The ideal Lagos of our dreams is a realization that must be met with total infrastructural development within all t e local Government in the State.  

Let me remind you that upon the assumption of office, we have put in place series of programmes and projects.

Today's commissioning is an affirmation of our commitment to put in place motorable roads within all nooks and cranny of seven wards in Kosofe Local Government.

Let me again use this opportunity to reassure all Residents and Chairmen of all CDA's here present that we remain committed to the welfare and wellbeing of all the communities in the Local Governrnent.

I want to assure you that dividend of good governance will not elude anyone of you. We will touch all the wards within the Kosofe Local Government with laudable projects and programmes the years ahead.

Permit me to also say here that this road we are commissioning today is not to be turned into a night market, parking of abandoned vehicles and converting to parking lot. The collective resposibilities of maintaining this road lies with the CDA's of the street, and all the residents of this community.

Lastly, pay your tax. It is very important for socio and economic development of our Local Government.

I wish you all journeying mercies back to your various destinations.
