A SPEECH DELIVERED BY THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF KOSOFE LOCAL GOVERNMENT HON. AFOLABI SOFOLA DURING THE DISTRIBUTION OF G.C.E FORMS TO INDIGENT STUDENTS OF KOSOFE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ON WEDNESDAY 9TH AUGUST, 2017

I am highly delighted to be part of this occasion because taking education to the greatest height is the priority of Kosofe Local Government. My greatest passion for education is a paramount aspect of this dispensation.
Having discussed that some talent have been wasted and marred as a result of not being able to further their education because most parents preferred investing their money on social activities to their wards, this administration is ready to compliment efforts to achieve quality education.
However, it has been discovered that majority of these less privileged constitute nuisance to the society, making our community inhabitable. This and other reasons have prompted me and the entire cabinet of Kosofe Local Government in collaboration with our amiable Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Kosofe constituency 1; Hon. Bayo Osinowo to finance this brilliant initiative.
I therefore use this medium to encourage all the beneficiaries of this noble gesture to put in every necessary effort in order to bring out the best result. I want to state here that you all should buckle up and pass the examination; this will motivate the council to finance more of this type of project in the nearest future.
I want to use this opportunity also to appreciate the support of Hon. Bayo Osinowo for being part of this laudable occasion. We could see the impact of your efforts in this Local Government. May the good Lord reward you abundantly.
